Anna Rut Fridholm works as a freelance photographer since year 2000. Before starting her own business she assisted commercial photographers for a couple of years, then went to Italy for a deeper education at Istituto Europeo di Design in Rome. Her main focuses are portraits and photo stories, which can be seen in Work.
Besides her assignments she works on different projects, which can be seen in Expo. Eastern Europe such as Ukraine and Belarus, where she spent one year studying Russian, has been in her focus for several years.
She has always been fascinated by her own country Sweden, which is a persistent theme in her production. And of course she often turns her attention towards her three children and family, who are participating in many of her more personal work.
